50th Anniversary Sayings

Murphy Chemicals (EA) Limited mainly supplied agrochemicals to Brooke Bond. Later on Brooke Bond purchased the company from Mr. Murphy.

Murphy Chemicals (EA) Limited established itself as a market leader in agrochemicals formulation and distribution and in 1966, May & Baker a pharmaceutical company, purchased the company from Brooke Bond.

In 1987, a French multinational, Rhone Poulenc, acquired Murphy Chemicals (EA) Limited after a worldwide purchase of May & Baker.

In 1991 Rhone Poulenc eventually sold Murphy Chemicals to local investors who have since managed the company.
